ARTIST BIO

Fiona Fowler (born in 1968) has spent much of her life embracing her passion for art, design and fashion. With 17 years experience teaching Art and Textiles in private schools in Hobart and Melbourne, she has explored many media while encourages others to find their own level of skill and expression. Prior to this, Fiona complete a BA in Fashion at RMIT, worked for a bayside leather designer and then David Jones in Australian and European Fashions, before beginning her family. In her own time, she is currently focused on watercolour painting, mentored by local artist, Vivi Palegeorge. Fiona enjoys working in many forms of art including oils, pastels, graphites, dry point etching, silk painting and other textile crafts.
